Relief Prints
This complex reduction linocut is the second in a series of three still life subjects featuring flowers from my mother's garden. Vermillion single roses and zinging alchemilla mollis are displayed in a decorated antique jug. The light seeps in from the window behind under a muslin curtain. All is peaceful but vibrant.
Caligo Safe Wash relief inks are used on Japanese Hosho paper. A Rolloco etching press is used to make the print.
